Well, Myself and my neighbor were joined by a friend of mine and we all went back to a historic church that dates back to 1833. I have already been given the go ahead to hunt so we stoped by and said hi to the Minister. Well, today just wasn't my day and I was only able to get 2 wheaties and some clad. My friend Joel got 3 silver rosies and a 1937 buffalo (2 silvers and the buffalo out of the same hole :o). It was nice to get out and do some swinging with friends.

Totals....

7 Quarters (oldest 1966)
11 Dimes (oldest 1968)
21 Pennies (oldest 1944)
Wheaties are 1951-S & 1944-D

They help build the totals on the clad counter, good luck

Hey, that's enough clad for a new set of batteries, and (2) wheat's to boot, WTG!!!
I think it's always better to hunt with your friends than it is by yourself. I always have a better time...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Storm--
Thanks for letting me tag along. Here's a pic of the rosie's. Now how about a look at the buff?

However, I did find out it wasnt the 3-legged :'( :'( :'(

But still an awesome find!!!

Congratulations guys, the warmer temps are getting us all back in the swing. The buff... you do the same as I do, count those legs.

Swing on guys, and keep us posted.

Only the ones with the right date/mint mark ;D

Way to go guys. Sounds like a fun time.
By the way, why is it when we invite "buddies" to go with us to hunting sites, THEY find all the old coins??? Still trying to figure that out. ??? ;D ;D ;D

Ahhh, I don't mind as long as it's our group that are pulling them from the ground!!  ;D ;D ;D

However, this site has older coins then the 30's....We just need to wait until soil conditions are better so we can dig the iffy signals.  We really didn't want to mess up the churches lawn because of the mud, so we only dug good signals. This place has great landscaping not to mention it's a stop for the Oregon history tours....So we need to keep it looking good. Founded 20 years before Oregon became a state.
