my finds for week 1/21

My gards boxes were all skunks this week [ 9 boxes in a row and counting]. My 3 brinks boxes gave me 4 90%, includinf a 63 franklin, and 14 40%. This is a good week for boxes for me.

Ever since garda has started servicing PNC banks, the finds have been terrible. I am seriously considering opening another account at a bank that uses Brinks, since I seem to have much better luck with them, even though I am dumping 3K per week into change machines that are serviced by Brinks. I will then stop using garda for a while and then start again to see if the results are better.

any thoughts?

I think that the only silver half dollars in my boxes are the ones which were recently put into the stream by someone who recently deposited all that change that Grandpa had saved in his sock drawer. There is no way to predict which bank that change will go to.

This hobby is streaky. Loomis isn't better than Brinks and String & Son's rolls aren't better than others. Coin roll hunting is about numbers, and all we are doing is participating in the numbers.

In other words, don't switch, don't stop and start.

I agree. I think it might be the bank itself that might be the key to silver. Maybe you should find a regional bank that has been around for 50 years + that is willing to order boxes. HH
