My Finds From A Detecting Trip Last Week

I got to get away to Ohio with my buddy Micah (LDC) for a few days of detecting. We got hit with rain and then 5" of snow the first two days of our adventure, but it warmed up and we did get in about 2 1/2 days of some good hunting. We hunted some good field sites along with some old schools, houses and parks. It was a lot of fun and its crazy how fast a day can go by when your busy detecting. We managed to dig a few old coins and relics we also dug some first. A first for me was a sterling silver spoon with a monogrammed "A" on the handle. Most the copper coins we dug are beat up from the fertilizer but I was able to see a few dates, The LC is an 1840 and the Indians are 1865,1868,1879,188? & 1895. Also got a 1899 Barber Dime & a 1903 Barber Quarter. Well now it's back to work and hard to focus when daydreaming of the spots we didn't get time to hit. HH David.

All I can say is awesome hunt. I have had a few nice hunting days where I'll get a couple silver n Indians but your few days def beat mine😃. Good job. U have some great locations wish I could b there

Great bunch of finds! Leave it to a detectorist to be in two places at one time, physically present at work but out in the field exploring mentally !
