its reed from a musical instrument, i have found many of them some even have the "KEY" written on them like B or F#

Might be the reed out of an old duck or goose call. Was it found in the same area where you got the old shotgun shell brass?

Hey yall I found out what the metal object is, thanks to your suugestions. It is a reed out of a reed organ.

I think it is a accordian reed

It could be from an accordian but there reeds look bigger than this one. I just do not know??
