Did some swinging on, what I suspected, was an old trail in my area. These are some of my finds. Most were the usual rusted old tins and cans. The trail was really littered. With what I suspect were old barrel rings, lots of wire of different sizes, links and pieces of chain. The one bullet casing reads, W.R.A.CO. 44 W.C.F. By looking at my photos, I'd like to hear opinions of the time period of these examples. I know the trail was used till 1925, because I found a date nail with that date on it. Thanks, Lamy-Lineman

The upper-right object in the top left pic looks like what is called a blacksmiths puzzle...the trick is removing the ring while manipulating the object...

Then again its something altogether different.....

Mg guess for a late date is the late 1950's, the .22 lr rimfire U (union metallic cartridge) shell and the 22 lr H (Henry's) shell were around until about the late 50's or so. Those shotgun hulls can be a good item to narrow down a late date too.

Bottom one is a leg from cast iron stove or heater or such.
But a leg none the less.
