But you have to prove your Not from
PA To Shop in them.

I Used to have to Buy them
from Under the Counter in
Mom & Pop Stores or Out of

That is by far the strangest law ever. That must be why all the fireworks stores in PA are along the borders. ;D

Jeff, I am curious... Is there any explanation as to why the law is set up this way? It makes no sense to me that out of state people can buy them even if they are illegal in their own state.

Only reason I'm aware, Most Fireworks are Illegal in PA

at KEYSTONE Fireworks

Restrictions for Pennsylvania Residents:

A section of the store is dedicated to Pennsylvania residents only. Pennsylvania residents may purchase sparklers, fountains, ground spinners, smoke devices and other Pennsylvania approved items anytime. Pennsylvania residents who wish to purchase aerial devices, firecrackers, roman candles and other 1.4G consumer fireworks can only do so if they possess a valid permit issued by an appropriate official of the municipality in which the fireworks will be used.

they do set up Tent sales of Toy (Play) Fireworks
throught the state around the 4th.

mainly sparklers, smokers & cardboard Toy cars & stuff.
If you lite the fuse on the cars they move
3 inches accross the sidewalk,
& Neighbors lock their doors in fear,
or dial 911 :tongue3:

That sucks man, I feel for you.

Tell you what, I will blow up the sky with my fireworks in your honor! I swear it!

I got lots of fuse this year.

Hey your avatar... uh, you're not hurting that kitten, right?

Yeeee-haaaaww!!!! Fireworks!! Me and my brother and all the neighborhood kids used to have fireworks wars, but last year my dad came out and told us since we were both in our 50's we had to stop that sort of thing.

I love fireworks! Never have outgrown them. Yes they cost alot, and they are gone in seconds. But I don't care, I love them! They always make me feel like a kid. I like the smell of them, I like the duds, "light another one!" I like the new ones, the old stand bys,, snakes, smoke-bombs, ladyfingers, bottle-rockets. The good news is you can still buy bottle-rockets on Indian land here in Oklahoma. I haven't bought any fireworks in a few years because I don't have any young'uns to use as an excuse. But I still love 'em! That looks like a lot of fun Elad :headbang:

Nice stash you got there, which reminds me I need to drive across the border for the good stuff.

Hey,are those fizzleworks or the real thing? I like the real stuff, even knowing it's illegal here.. But know one knows....he he.. ka boom!

Yeah, I love the motars! Just a bit smaller than the real thing. Strange laws. I was in Wisconsin over the 4th a few years back and you could but them there from motor home type vehicles. They were illegal to use in Wisconsin but you were given a transport permit which was supposedly making it legal to transport them out of Wisconsin for use elsewhere. ::)
We got so many in Missouri for a family reunion one time that the show lasted for hours. In the morning the farm looked like a Civil War battle site. There was still smoke in the air holding close to the ground like an early morning fog. The kids that were there will never forget that one.
We do the big illegal stuff out here in CA (my family anyway) on New Years. It's just too dry and dangerous around here in the summer.
