Awesome video, I'd love to dive for some fossils there.

I gotta say, kind of looks like you become part pf the food chain when you enter that water. What's the alligator situation?

Haha the sinkhole may be good, but around the hole, I've not really found much. I found a modern alligator tooth and two pieces of turtle shell and then the raccoon tooth. There are definitely some good alligators on this river, although most are under five feet. I remember when I was younger seeing some big guys (10-12 ft) out there. I went again with my wife yesterday to show her the spring and we saw 5 gators in the half mile canoe trip with the largest being about 6-7 ft.
