my first barber quarter.. 1892...

i haven't been out in a while..the ground is like concrete..we had 3 days of rain on and off..
yesterday redcardhack found a real nice large cent on his first hole..wow..we are working together at an 145 yr. old house.
this place is a freeking mansion..anyway the rain stopped so we had a small window to hunt..
i kinda went around redcardhack along the edge of the property..(sorry red) and a great solid high tone..
it was reading in the 25 to 50 cent range..out of the hole came this beauty..

looks pretty good it must of been face up..the scratches on the barber are stains i think..i took a small dash of toothpaste on it and it is barley visible.
don't wanna over clean it...thanks..

NICE......1st year issue 1892-O Barber Quarter.......there were only 2,460,000 minted of this New Orleans quarter.....that you saved from its hiding place.....Good Job!!......thanks for sharing.....and Happy Hunting.

P.S. I loved my Coinmaster Pro, and found a alot of coins with it the last 3 or 4 years......but had a chance to trade up and get an MX5 a couple of weeks ago, and loving it as well.

That thing is beautiful. My one and only is a totally smooth 1893. Yours looks like the New Orleans mint lost it. Nice find!

I think it's cool that your first Barber quarter is also the first year of the series , and with New Orleans mintage , you got an
