Not "today's" find but anyway......spent last week in Wildwood Crest and had my first ever opportunity to hunt the sand. Gotta say it's definitely different than diggin' dirt but I did enjoy it. In the five days I was there I detected a total of about 10 hours, the rest of the time was spent enjoying all the things Cape May had to offer!

Here's the group shot for the week, there was a third sterling ring with a nice blue stone found as well but it fit perfectly on someones finger when I got back to the hotel so it never made the photo session....LOL!!

I was pretty happy with my jewelry finds for my first trip

I was very pleased with the way the Etrac hunted the beach, she ran as quiet on sand as she does on dirt. It didn't matter if I was in wet or dry sand the E handled it very well. I'm looking forward to hunting the beach again!

Those are some great finds! I must have spent double that time at the beach with less than half the finds!

Very nice! I have a friend that uses the Etrac at the beach. He sold me his Excal because of the etrac. He does extremely well with it.

Again, Congrats on the Jewelry Finds Dave

Looks like you had a great time down there, congrats on the finds!!

Beach hunting is fun and easy diggin', one can get spoiled. Nice finds there bro............Rich

I got a seat for you at the end of October. I knew you would like it.

Wow, excellent first time finds! I didn't do nearly as well my first time on the beach. Where yah huntin? Water line or dry sand?

hope you saved some targets for me. we are headed down next june.. nice job.

Bottom row of pennies, the one on the far right, thats my favorite. Just kidding, thats a nice haul for 10 hours. I agree with Rich, beach hunting will spoil you. HH

RangerGal, all the jewelery that made the pic was from the water line. There was a third sterling ring that I found earlier in the dry sand behind the "towel line". I didn't need the detector to find the bracelet, the surf washed it right up at my feet!

Brett, the more I think about it the more I think I'm in for the end of October!!

Thanks all!

Dave
