Went out along the river hitting some areas the once had dwellings in the 1800's. First hit was another token, put it in my bag while hunting. Got another strong hit and decided to dig, cool, my first plate. Decided to wash my hands in a puddle of standing water as they were muddy from digging. Oh this will be a good spot to take a peak at the token. Must have been some kind of magic water, because as soon as the water touched it, a clad nickel appeared. And the belt plate turned into a bowling buckle. Note to self, do not wash finds off in that puddle ever again!!! Oh well still had fun, and maybe work my way out to the old mill site when it cools off later.
