Any date or mint mark on the nickel? You may have to clean the buttons to see if there are any maker's marks on them.
 
Looks like an ole Dandy button. Guessing mid 1800 to earlier. Nice finds.:icon_thumright:
 
That little old button appears to be a trouser button. IMG_5321.webp
 
Buffalo nickels are a fantastic coin. I don't find as many of them as I would like. Hopefully there are many more in your future!

The button next to it is probably early to mid 1800s, like Rook mentioned. The ones with the holes I'm not sure about.
 
What a terrible state we live in for this hobby (tongue planted firmly in cheek)- end to end, we're pretty fortunate here in Mass- Congrats on the nice finds!

It's not a Dandy button but is circa 1830s.
The 4 hole button went on shirts & underwear, hard to date but probably early 1900s
