Nice find! :thumbsup:

It's a civilian plain-face gilt brass button, probably c. 1820-40. "Warranted / Rich Orange" is what's called a quality backmark and refers to the finish of the metal.

I think PBK gave you the likely dates of manufacture... 1820 - 1840 (ish).

That makes the button about 190 (ish) years old.
