Got out today and did a little treasure hunting. I found what I think to be my first ever large cent but its so toasted I cannot be for sure. Also found a 1976 1 Franc that might be silver. I need to do some research on it to make sure but it did come out of the ground looking like silver. A cool standard type company charm that looks to be from 1965. Last but not least $3.51 in clad AKA Beer Money.. HAPPY HUNTING TO ALL !!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the 1 Franc is Nickel. Cool finds.

Nice finds! And beer money to boot!

I wonder if Ronnie and Sonia are still together? I like those old metal typer tokens

That's a nice day of treasure hunting.

That is some very cool finds, I can't tell from your pix, looks like there could be something on that toasted coin that might be readable? Can you see anything? I like the Franc, looks like a Walker.

That's to funny I asked the same thing when I found it. Here is a photo of the machine it came from. 1070630452.webp

The only thing I can make out on the back is one cent. I think I will just go with its my oldest coin ever 1839-1857.

I can see the one cent on the back. Great find! I got my first a few weeks ago and it was so toasted I could t even read that much.

That's cool, I have found a few toasted coins in the past year, I get real excited when I'm pulling them out of the dirt, I couldn't even read one cent on them, at least you got that much. I can see it on that last pix. Leave it in mineral oil, maybe after a month or so you might make out a date. Couple of my coins got better after a long soak.

Congrats again on some very cool finds!
