Had to hurry as there was a thunder storm approaching...... but it was hard as we had 31degC with the sun beating down and the only clouds in the sky being the front bearing down on us.
A kids holiday camp that has been used for well over 70yrs.
Very poor pickings, usual bottle tops, tear tabs, $16.20 in clad, a plough shear and a mobile phone which was full of moisture. Trappsed back to the car and pulled the battery out of the phone and sat it on the dash....it would soon dry out.
Back into the hunt, when I got a a good solid beepbeep..... and this is what I dug out

Don't think I have seen one of those AKiwi......
Is that one that was mainly used in NZ?
Anyway, congrats on your find. Gold Nuggets :hello:

It's made in England and has got alot of numbers stamped around the base.
It has to be fairly old as I have never seen one or heard of one before this and my old engineer buddy has seen a much plainer plug and smaller of the same variety in an old motorbike.
He is nearing 85yrs old

Very cool looking plug. Probably out of an old car. or tractor.
:hello: HH in 2010 :hello2:

Nice find.Old plugs in such condition are very collectible.

Did the "G" on it but can't find any info on it.........Anyone?
Update on the cell phone...... dried out nicely......recharged it and then found it belonged to the local YMCA, which I rang and have returned the handset..... They were pleased to get it back :)

looks like what we call a spark plug, an old one.
