Stop by the thrift store today and they had a whole bunch of clocks that somebody dropped off. A Movodo mantel clock they're asking $300. Sekio mantle o'clock $225. Some other quartz thing I've never heard of was $120 and then Seth Thomas which was $25. Works fine looks nice I think. Put it next to the other two I have and I guess it's the start of a new collection now!

That a nice vintage piece. Seth Thomas clocks are usually a pretty good buy and really good quality. Great find!!

Thank you. I was surprised it was sitting there I'm not sure exactly how much it's worth but I'm going to keep it anyways

love the collection!

That's a nice Golden Hour you have. Is it working? I used to be an insane collector of Telechron (bought by GE) clocks. Had over 300 clocks at one point. I had a couple of Golden Hours and even a Silver Hour.

Hi, yes it works. Picked it up at a yard sale. It was $50 I think. The GE was $2 and I have another GE that was $5. This antique store has one and I absolutely love but they want $200 for it and there's no way I'm paying that. It's blue enamel like that sterling silver that's made in Norway or Denmark but I don't think it's silver. I'm friends with the owner though so I'm going to talk to her on Friday see if she'll take a reasonable price like $25. Haha. I don't have high hopes.
