Sounds to me like you found a crooks stash .I would check with the local police as to any thefts of these items over say last ten years or so

Very cool and unusual find, best of it is silver. Congrats.

AWESOME digs! Way to knock out a bunch of silver in one shovel-full!

Are there any other markings (makers marks, etc) other than the .925 or SS marks???

Several years ago, my hunting buddy and I was hunting in a drained lakebed right near the dam and found almost a complete set of silverware. We kinda figured it was stolen booty and was tossed because the law was close. Never know. Very nice find!!

Nice Digs! I used to live near an old trailor court and had many friends that lived there. Their trailor homes were the target of many breakins as they were so easy to gain entry into. Not surprised that a resident may have buried them for safe keeping then moved, forgetting to dig them up. Many of the residents were military and when they moved they did not just move across town but were gone for good. Keep checking as there may be other stashes located in the park. HHHH

I was hunting a park back in the fall and found a plastic bag with about 12 teaspoons at the base of a large tree. They were just laying there. I think someone had a picnic and left them. We're using them at home now.

Nice job on the silver spoons!!!! I bet you were excited!!!! ;D

Nice spoons!!!
The forks are located on the other side of the trailer...

Amazing find!
