My first find!

I found my sons metal detector in the attic from 14 years ago and decided to give it a try. These are from a week ago. The first from what I have been able to find out is a Japanese firemans merit badge(the first item I dug up). I am not sure about the star. Looks to be from a uniform.

Thanks everyone! I see how easy it is to get addicted to metal detecting. I drive down the street looking at vacant property that I know had a house on it at on time and think of what could be under ground!
