Random finds in the woods today. Got my first ever heel plate, which must have been for a child's shoe, since it's so small. Pretty rusty, but it cleaned up okay. Also found half of an old lock and a button, which may be an Elks lodge button. Has an elk and a gun for a design on the front. Not a bad day!

Nice heart heel plate, it's kind of cool still seeing the three peg rivets/nails still intact. I'm thinking it might be off a woman shoe instead of a child's shoe.

Nice oldies congrats!

Nice job on the old relics! :occasion14:

Very nice old site and cool finds.Congrats :occasion14:

That lock is really cool too!

That area has a little bit of everything! That is a great button!!! I hope you find whatever was locked up:)

very nice!! I found a brass heart heel plate awhile back. I didnt know they were made in steel also.. nice finds.

Yup, I was surprised it looked so good for being made out of steel. Hopefully, I'll find the other one and have a matched set...
