My first hunt ever!!

Well hello all I'm new here and just wanted to tell you what I found my first day of hunting ever. I did it in my own yard.
I live in a rural place ,but I found a bunch of penny's just modern money but cool and a quarter 1978 and a sterling silver ring with a purple birth stone mounted on the top in great shape I found it 8 inches down now I am hooked and so is my 4 year old daughter she loved it.When I learn how to post picures here I will show them to all

Yay! Another Newbie! I just went out on my first hunt today too and it is definitely addicting. Sounds like you did a lot better than I did though!

I just think it's beginners luck ,I have only had the detector for a couple of days ,still have a ton of stuff to learn maybe in ten years I will know something but we are trying and having a blast.

I just started 3 weeks ago and after working all week I usually would sleep in on Sunday morning, but since I've bought my detector I've been up early every Sunday and headed somewhere with my new toy. I feel like I'm 10 years old again, lol.
