My First Jewelry Find!!!

Hi all!!! Today I decided to detect my yard one more time. I was detecting for about 30 min and only found a horseshoe, then i got a good tone, dug down about 4 inches and out pops this. I think it was part of an old necklace. Im not sure what the stone is in the middle, can anyone help with the identification. Thanx for reading HH.

From the looks of it the stone is either tourmulene (check the spelling on that one) or man mad.
I hope it to be the first. It is'nt very valuable but it was not widely used as a jewel until late 80's or so. So if it is, then it truly is a find. Good show! C ya.
