Congratz on your LC and Silver! I have no idea what the other piece could be.

Nice finds, congrats on your first Matron Head LC. Your unknown piece might be a bent/broken shoe buckle frame. The small hole in one side would be where the pin for the chape would have been attached. Is there another hole like it on the other decorative side?

Nice find Rustic..

I am in your area of western mass and was starting to believe there is none left as I am in the notorious slump lately. A few silvers here and there, but have not found a colonial
coin for at least two months now.

Yeap, a 18th C shoe buckle bit.

Congrats on the Largie! Still looking for my first

Thanks, that's a good thought, that never occurred to me. It has the one hole in it, but thats the only hole I see. It must have been a beautiful buckle in its day, how I wish I could have found the whole thing.

Congratualtions on the relic hunt! :occasion14:

Nice finds! I'll never get tired of seeing LC's, and remember very well what it felt like to find my first one. Congrats!

I hear ya, I think it's all this really dry weather we've been having around here. I was in a slump for a long while too... keep on plugging... a couple good rainstorms and you'll be back in it. Hope things turn around for you quickly:thumbsup:

Congrats on your first matron, mine was not as nice! Nice shoe buckle too
