OUTSTANDING finds :) CONGRATULATIONS !!!\

Great finds and congrats on your first Merc !

Sweet silvers! It's kind of amazing how patriotic our coins USED to be. I always loved how our coinage used to have images of Lady Liberty and symbols of the ideals America was founded and built upon. The 'Mercury' dime for example shows Lady Liberty wearing a winged cap which symbolizes freedom of thought, while the fasces and olive branch on the reverse symbolizes unified strength with the desire for peace. Our coinage today does little more than pay tribute to politicians.

I like your insight sir. Coinage has always usually had the faces of conquerers on em since they started minting though. :p

That's a nice old dime. Doesn't look like it was circulated long.

And rings too! That's a nice spot you've found. Well done. Silver always brings a smile.
