Hi , I'm rapt in my first a/c (armed constabulary ) tunic button, went to an old site today and set the discriminate obove the rusty nails etc, after a blackberry scramble with the come back here thorns, I got a good signal and after I propointed it thinking it was a button, came up with a three holed bit the same size (help me on the id on this ok ) then patience paid off and I found a brass suspender clip..then bingo...maybe my first and last..an ac button from the era of the site (1869)...still to clean it properly when I learn the proper way...walked back and gave the detector a free rein on all metal and she screamed on a shallow target..so I went home with a nice axe head to boot..thanks all for looking and happy hunting, des
