my first real find

Today was my second day out with the land ranger pro. I am still learning how to set it up. I decided to go back over my own yard. I had previously dug up quite a bit of clad, using a tracker iv. I had a few hits in the quarter range and found garbage. well on the 3rd hit in the aluminum range i found a 14k gold ring with a ruby and 2 small diamonds. I was running very little notching and sensitivity on 5. It was down about 3 inches. This makes for a good day and it pays to dig up the aluminum

Thanks for all the congrats on finding the ring. The next good news is that it does not belong to my wife or her 2 daughters. I was quite shocked when i pulled it out of the dirt. There is mostly fill around my house a lot of gravel and rocks. The house was built in 1945 and i have lived here about 13 years. Now i wan't to go back over the rest of it. I have about 1/3 of an acre. Maybe i will get lucky again.

Nice ring! I've found 2 gold in two years so you are doing just fine. PS...can you use a background with less color for your pics? Nobody even thinks of us color blind people , but I could appreciate the beauty of that ring better without so much "eye noise"...
