Small, silver and generic but it'll pay for the cost of 1/2 of a Duracell 9 volt battery lol

1940's by the look of it - Marked ''STER''

Congrats on your first! :occasion14:

Nice digs and thanks for those pictures

Congratulations on your first ever ring. I remember I was thrilled when I found mine and it was a cheap mood ring.

my first was a little copper kids ring that looked like it came from one of those gumball machines. My second was a big honking gold class ring (almost 11 grams) that I was able to find the owner and return. my third was a small plain silver band. I'm still looking for my next one.

Gotta love it when you realize its a ring !!!

I remember my 1st silver ring, I had been talking to myself that surely someday I would find a ring, any kind of ring and the very next hole was it and my wife wears it to this day. congrats on the silver ring, hopefully you will be posting the next one soon enough.

Big Congrats on your first ring & it being silver rather than junque! :occasion16::wav::occasion16: Soon you'll have enuf $ for two batteries!

I didn't dig my first ring until I'd been detecting a few months & it was also silver. A bent silver Irish good-fortune ring dug in cement-hard dirt at a busy playground after my son & I'd been digging up a few modern coins. I couldn't believe I'd dug a ring. Kept asking my son, "Did I just dig this ring?" The comedy was heightened by an older lady who'd been silently watching us intently for a long time. She'd never seen a detector before so started asking us a million questions as soon as she saw the ring. She was nice lady so we did enjoy updating her. Have fun! :cat: Andi

Grats on the Silver Ring find !
