well I went to a local park today and the first hour was a bust.
I decided to head over to the opposite side of the huge area and that's when I struck a 1945 war nickel, than another and another.
then I dug up 4 wheats 1934, 1941 and 2-1945's

than 30 minutes went by with nothing at all... on my way back to the car I heard a beautiful ring and 6 inches under was a 1947 Roosevelt.
I also found a metal plate that says LAWSON TORPEDO an I think it is for the back then "car of the future." 1946 Torpedo.
I think it was a good day.

Excellent finds - I like the nameplate, pic reminds me of the old Studebakers. I had never heard of a Lawson Torpedo. Probably very collectible.

Well the car you have pictured is a 1948 Tucker. A Lawson Torpedo was a trash receptacle !!!! Nice finds though!

I did some research as well. Never heard of that and I'm a car buff. Not here to make you look bad or anything. Nice finds, nevertheless. The only thing that cam up under that was a trash receptacle
