Went to my local park for a few hr's in the early am to beat the heat..I've been hitting the trees with my AT Pro with the super sniper coil on it and found my first silver coin with a MD :headbang:..I was sweeping a good size bare spot under the tree's where there's ton's of pull tabs and screw caps...I was ready to pack it up and got a few signals in one spot and said to myself here's another screw cap let's dig it :laughing7:..After a 3.5'' dig and to my surprise it was some kind of silver coin and 1'' away was a bullet..I know this park has been pick thru many of times over the years and know I would've never found this merc without the super sniper coil on it..I can't wait to go tomorrow in the same area and maybe someone skip another silver :laughing7:

Hell yeah! Nice work and welcome to the silver club! Feels good don't it!? Good job digging all the other crapola also! Gotta dig a ton to find silvers now a days. Pretty much all that is left are the crazy signal silvers sitting next to something else metal.

My last 2 silver digs have been pocket spills that had pennies in the hole and gave off a weird signal... probably passed up a few times by guys looking for the perfect silver targets...

HH!

WTG digging your first silver. Digging the crapola will get you silver later than sooner, your
going to learn alot more this way. I find #'s of copper and brass every year to cash in.

well done rob.

Thanks Jay!It feels great and I'm still in shock in finding this merc..I hear you on the crazy signal's given of by the MD..From now on I'll be really listening to the MD from now on..

Thanks guy's! Digging in the crapola well pay of in the end for sure..I like these kind of surprises when your thinking it's another screw cap...Now I'm thirsty for more silver :icon_pirat:

A BBQ and a cold one to finish my first silver day,LOL!

Well deserved Old Style! I love to celebrate a good hunt with a cold one :occasion14:

So how's that AT Pro doin'?

Guess we know now! Good job and good hunt!

If you're in an old park, check those noisy areas that also have tree roots exposed. Not everyone goes back to those areas and I've found stuff in those places years after I first hit them, because of soil erosion around the tree base.

Yeah it puts the good stuff in a mix with the junk, but your odds are improved simply because your coil is closer to the oldies.

Congrats!

Welcome to the silver club.
The monkey is off, so your good for a few more hunts.
I hate digging all that junk like that but throw in a merc and it feels good...

Thanks Lowbatts-that's where most of my hunting has been lately around the base of huge tree's where there's bare spots from erosion and it's been paying off..First a 1ok ring a few weeks ago and now the merc..

Skates Ice -The devil was speaking again this morning and found a silver ring >:D

D P Bob-this is my only chance for finding silver coins there in the sea junk :laughing7:

Got out few hr's this morning and found my first silver ring :headbang:

My horseshoe is on fire :wav:
