My first silver Roosevelt

I found my first silver Roosevelt in my own backyard it was only about 3-4 inches down. It's a 1946 and in excellent shape. My house was built in 1952 and I also found 8 wheat penny's so far I am 19 years old and I hope to detect for many years to come

Well done finding your first Roosevelt dime. I'm finding that they are tougher to find then mercury dime. This mostly due to the fact that the mercury dimes were made for many more years then the Roosevelt dimes so there are many more of them.

Nope not my first. My first was a 1943 mercury dime I found a another location that was about 5 months ago.
