My First Silver War Nickel! 1942 P!

Only took me 16 months to find my first silver war nickel! It's a 1942 P and in pretty decent condition. It was 4 inches down and came up as a nickel signal and not as silver. But I thought it might be another pewter button, so I dug it. Glad I did!

Thanks for all the great replies! I learned a valuable lesson from this find. From now on, I'm digging ALL nickel signals! It will be a pain, but worth it if I get a silver nickel once in awhile.
