About 15 years ago there was a very old two story house a friend of mine owned and than tore down. Fast forward , Saw him yesterday and asked if I could detect the land and he said sure but you won’t find anything . Found everything from modern clad which surprised me, old toy gun, small buckle , and a beautiful patina green , super heavy ,maybe a key?? Clock key?? Any help on this would be awesome,
And of course the beautiful 1945 Mercury Dime I nearly past out when I saw it !

Nice start for me and week two
Hope everyone has a great weekend

Love a silver coin, you'll find plenty more [emoji106]

Nice group and extra nice with the Merc!

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Congrats on your first silver! Mercs are special, here's to many more!

Nothing like the feeling of that first silver- Congrats and here's hoping there's plenty more in store!

That pistol looks like it could be real. Gary

Thanks for all the feedback everyone . Heading out again today
The pistol is quite heavy , if it is a kids toy it was definitely a good one , not like the ones I played with lol

Congratulations on the silver! Very nice finds.

I believe your unknown brass object just might be the 'Key' part of a gas valve.
Here is a similar one:

Great finds. I can’t count the number of times that I’ve been denied permission and then told that I wouldn’t have found anything anyway because someone already MD’d the property. Not sure whether they are trying to justify their denial of permission, trying to make me feel better about the denial, or whether they truly believe a site can be totally cleaned out. I’ve never attempted to explain because I don’t think it would change their mind anyway.

Every part of that key has the look, feel and patina of an old tap key, but the round receiver has me scratching my head. I’ve seen square, triangle, etc designs but never round. Repurposed?
It's not a key or the key type tap, its a T-shaped handle/tap.
