Well after nearly a two year hiatus I decided it was time to get back out there and start swinging the DFX again. So I took it on vacation with me last week. While visiting my brother, we hit up the local fairgrounds. I don't think anyone hunts it cause every step or two I'm digging up quarters, dimes, and pennies. Only three nickels though and one of them was a surface find and another VDI'd as a dime, but a quick recheck of the hole proved there was indeed a dime present. Where could those nickels be hiding? After only a three and half hour hunt my legs were ready to call it quits. The take for the day was $7.75 in clad, a Canadian penny, about 50 pull tabs, some junk, and this 1908 Barber dime. It was only maybe 2.5 inches deep. Keep swinging.
