My first site is secured and I don't even have a detector yet...

I have permission to hunt the yard of a farmhouse that has been handed down for few generation. they used to have a summer kitchen out building that has been torn down. The rest of the yard and barn are intact. It will take more than one session to cover the area.

The nice thing is, it's a friends house and it's only a couple of miles from home.

Sounds like you'll be busy for a while! You can't go wrong with a classic, there like a reliable good ole dog and should get the job done! make sure to keep us posted

I always thought securing sites and research was half the thrill... because the promise of "something big" to be found usually outweighs the reality that you might not find anything!
