My first week ...

I got my detector ... a Teknetics Delta 4000 ... one week ago and this what I have hauled in so far ... minus a couple of large iron pieces ...

Nothing old yet ... just clad ..

3 Quarters
2 Nickles
6 Dimes
12 Zinc Pennies
9 Copper Pennies

A child's ring
A hunk of flattened lead
A metal bead
A knitting marker ... it is heart shaped and says "Start Knitting Here"

4 Shotgun Shell Butts

The rest is just junk ...

Well congrats on the finds. At least your digging something lol. Just keep it up you'll find more. One thing to remember is silver and gold is far and few between, you will find more clad and junk then anything else. Alot of times gold and silver is found on the beaches not in the ground. Not to say there isn't any in the ground. Heck I use a cheap best buy toy detector and find all kinds of clad, bullets, and last night my first ring!! And don't ever believe someone when they tell you a place is "hunted out" there most likely wanting that area to themselves. So have fun and keep swinging.

Congrats. It was my first week also. I'm still stoked that I found a gold ring last night. The rest was clad and a few relics but getting used to the machine.
