All Treasure Hunting
Hi all,
I picked up a Tesoro Lobo Super Traq last Saturday. I hit up some schools and parks, and this is my first weeks haul.
I believe if I could get my pinpointing a bit better it would save me some time digging and therefore i can find more more treasure.
Oldest Quarter is 1965
Oldest Dime is 1982, I have sabre tooth dust bunnies that are older than this dime.
Oldest nickel 1964
Oldest penny is 1963
I also found a good socket,
An American Flag pin that has a broken post,
another pin with seagulls maybe on it (made in Hong Kong)
Lots of aluminum can bits after they were mowed,
some bullet slugs that were fired into the sand at one park (I won't be going back there)
and basically all the same trash that everyone else finds.
I think I am off to a good start.

You ARE off to a great start! If you haven't already, you may want to purchase a pinpointer. They really cut down on digging time. Congrats on those finds and welcome to Tnet!

It looks like you're off to a great start. Keep at it and your pinpointing skills will be better...your holes will get smaller....less time looking for each find. 8)

Welcome! Great start. I've been doing this for a year & I still have trouble pinpointing although I think I'm getting lots better...at least the holes are reasonable in size. :tard:
