A couple days ago I am metal detcting a farm field, where a farmhouse stood until the 50's. I found this arrowhead laying on top of the ground, here in Central WI. I know nothing about arrowheads, can anybody give me any info on it? Would especially like to know its age.

Probably an early to middle woodland point (1,000 BCish). I'd guess it's and Adena point but it's probably a different related type as I don't know if they're found in WI. If you found that point laying out there are certainly more to be found. Nice find.
