Unfortunately I don't have pics. I was happy to be finding some coins with the GT finally. I hunted a spot that is the site of an 85 year old well that was used heavily in the 1940's and earlier. I only had about 1 hr to hunt as the sun was setting. I came up with 8 wheaties from the 40's, a 45 nickel, an old copper child's ring and a memorial cent. Nothing to jump up and down about, but at least I found an area that was not littered with trash and could have fewer signals to have to decipher. It was great. I did not cover much area as I was short on time. I was awaiting the silver, but did not hit any yesterday, but they have to be there! I find that each time I go out with the GT, the good signals are getting easier to zero in on and distinguish. I can't wait until I can hit some of the heavily hunted CW fields with the GT once they are plowed! Today, I am going to detect an area on Seymour Johnson AFB that I hit before, with my Spectrum, and see if I can pull some good stuff out of the ground. Bryan

Those were some nice finds and I am sure you will hit the silver soon.
The site you are hunting today sounds promising.
Hope to see some pics later of your finds! Good Luck!

The GT is one wheatie killer. If the indians and silver are there it will get them just as easily.

When using a GT the big deal is finding the spots where there is something to dig. You can forget all about "is this machine deep enough?"

I was using the 10" coil and all of the wheaties were at least 7" down. I received very strong and loud signals for them. I did find it difficult to pinpoint exactly where the item was in the hole though. When it was out and I ran the coil over the dirt, it sang out. I have a Vibraprobe that I got from Kellyco but I did not use it. I have heard alot about the Sunray probes. Do they make one for the GT? Bryan
