I made this about 8 years ago , yesterday I took it for it's first test run . It was very windy , I think I was going about 30 - 35 mph . It passes the stress test , but , I lost a cotter pin that holds the front blade on , thankfully the steering linkage held the blade in place long enough for me to safely stop .
I would of had a picture of me on it , but by the time girlfriend got the camera ready I was a tiny dot half-way across the lake . It was a blast !

How do you troll with that thing??? :tongue3: :tongue3: God Bless Chris

Too bad you couldn't have made it up here to Dillon Reservoir this year. They had a stretch when there wasn't snow on the ice (unusual for here) and those ice boat guys made the most of it.

Really nice! I especially like the junk-design sail. Never saw one like that. Guys used to race them years ago on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin. They were fun to watch. I'm sure they still do it.

Now that looks like it would be fun, would it float if you fell through the ice :icon_scratch: :coffee2:
