Not a bad batch of finds for some of my last few winter hunts....mostly beach. Other than the typical beach junk, I found 13 rings (6 silver, 1 gold), 22 wheat cents, one 1895 Indian cent, a silver war nickel, a buffalo nickel, 8 silver Roosie's, 4 Mercs, 3 silver Washington quarters, and a few other silver jewelry pieces. I also found that huge chunk of lead that has SJ cast into each section. Both hex sections are connected and weigh a total of 10lbs! Anyone know what it was used for? An anchor? Ballast?
