I really liked my first rocker box that I built out of material that I had laying around. It worked really well and I have a lot of fun using it when the regs say you can't use any motorized equipment. So, I thought I'd build a brand spanking new one. Here it is! I'll probably do more tweeking on it (I can't leave stuff alone).

Idaho Jake,
Nice build! Everything is sized for easy clean-ups with simple wing nuts or screws to remove. I liked the "water cross" as the delivery of the water as it pretty much covers the entire classifier area. I can see the usefulness of this tool when the water is really low or just in pools. Most are looking at the BGT's right now as they offer a lot of conveniences but when the water flow is really low or just pools without movement then one is forced to pour buckets of water into the BGT and that slows everything down.

One thing, I would suggest taking a file to those two right angle corners on the upper end of the sluice box as I can see me gouging myself with them.Thank you for sharing your build!...................63bkpkr

Thanks 63...I went out and filed the corners after reading your comments. Safety first!

That would be great around Az in parts where all we have is small pools in the washes.
I need to build me at least the water pump and add it to my sluice if nothing else.
2 people take turns, one on the pump, one on the dirt. Thanks for sharing.
Heck, I might make the whole thing.
