Hi Onionhead, I'd say not bad for a couple of hours. I have been out in my front yard and only found one dime, a penny, and an old small toy car so far using the Tesoro Compadre. The Vaquero is really sensitive and found lots of aluminum and trash. I sure enjoyed the visit on the landline. I didn't make it out to the ranch, I forgot deer season isn't over yet! Me and my daughter found about 1.63 clad, on Jax Beach Fla., only our 3rd time out with new detector, minelab sovereign elite and a earring
