My next Metal Detector?

After doing some serious reading.

I have the Ace 250 and it great up to 4-5 inches. I need a deeper machine!

I am considering the Minelab Excalibur, Minelab Sovereign GT and the Minelab Musketeer Advantage and also have been looking at the COILTEK coils too.

What do you think I should narrow it down too?

If you are looking to do just the water then the Excal is the way to go, If you are going to do both then I would consider the Sov GT or the Minelab SE. The Coiltek coils are very good

I agree with erikk 100% . The Excal is for water and totally submergible , Sov and Explorer for land and beach as long as you don't submerge the control box . Good luck with which ever one you choose you won't be sorry .

I have done allot of research, and listened to countless posts here on these forums about Sovereign GT. Its the only thing on my Christmas list from my Wife, Daughter and 2 Stepsons and ME. Tossing allot of hints out there.
