I dont have a metal detector, yet, but I started picking up pull tabs long time ago when I was arrowhead hunting.
They are all so similar and spread out nation wide, kind of 4F7C6D4A-3DFE-48CD-9AD8-79F6022F071D.webp like Clovis, I wish...

Hey you should come check out some of my sites... hahaha.

THANK YOU.

Totally agree with AARC, HUGE THANK YOU for picking up all those pulltabs! Did you ever calculate the number of arrowheads found versus the number of pulltabs removed?

I have not figured that number. They are like growing sunflower seeds in red winter wheat country, a junk crop.
Sometimes theres so many I have to tune them out as too distracting.
Whenever I have a new hunting partner, or a regular, I try and show her what were looking for, fire rock and than lithic color, a few catch on but when they get board or just dont ever get it,
I sick them after tabs.
Than after I have a few to show and can encourage them along, in this fun way, they have been know to pick up dozens upon dozens of dozens.

Wow, if you find that many pull tabs detecting you might have a few pieces of gold as a reward

100 years from now metal detectorists might be happy to find those! :laughing7:
