I laughed pretty hard when I dug out the truck... The white thing is just a cool piece of coral I liked. The beach had a lot less metal litter than Bill Baggs park beach had yesterday! A Ranger thanked me for the pile of garbage I dumped into the bag he had. Wish I could have hit the grounds of that early 1800s built lighthouse! Can't wait to get home to NY and start doing some dirt digging!

Nice finds and it is good to have a backup 4X4 ce550av8r!

Can't go wrong with four wheel drive! Hahaha

Nice. Were you on a NY beach? Finally starting to warm up around here.

Grant, no - I'm in FL for work so I thought I'd bring my gear along to practice so I'll be ready when we thaw out upstate.

You know you played with the truck...it's ok, you can admit it! :tongue3:

Now if I only remembered the title of this thread I would have known that! Ug. It's been a long week.

I see you are getting warmed up both in climate and for the Spring md season in N.Y ...good luck

Hah! I kinda did. I rolled it back and forth on my hotel desk while I was trying to bend the front "axle" back into shape. No "vroom vroom" noises were made... Other than in my head... Haha

I am! I'm getting the beach hunting down - how that will translate to hunting the rocky dirt we have Upstate will remain to be seen. My pinpointing skills have improved, so there's THAT. I'm looking forward to hitting my acre at home - our house was built on what was once an apple orchard. We still have two trees out back - and that's where I'm going to start I think!
