If the Beacon is still moored at Puerto Plata it should be moved within the hour--if not yesterday--or face hurricane Irma bearing down on that location.

Scott Heimdal Operation
 

Interesting, yet dated,video on Scott Heimdal's ops on the 'Capitana' with the R/V Beacon as his salvage vessel.
He worked the site after my crew was there with the R/V Explorer.

Yes, Don, the workings on the Capitana with your team, and the much later Heimdal adventure. Things were a bit different when you guys worked the site.

I dont see that the Heimdal team found much from the search, and of course, the unusual team with RSOPS.

Still, since Herbo is looking for the Beacon (for sentimental reasons only? (not serious ops reasons)),
SH was the last known operator , and is apparently still around.
