Got out into the Bavarian woods enjoying the awesome weather. I believe I have found my first hammered coin (1549)!. It beats my last best 1756 by 207 years. If anyone can help identify what it is and what's it's worth. I'd appreciate it, not that I'll ever sell. It says rex ferdinand. Also found a 1825 bavarian pfennig, a musket ball and my free drumstick. Ty. 20170409_194036.webp20170409_193608.webp20170409_193557.webp20170409_193748.webp20170409_193757.webp

Yes sir. It's a welcome break from my usual clad parks. I found this one by driving around and saying those woods look promising. Of course I do this a lot and usually find shrapnel and buttons. But sometimes I get lucky.
Hey there's always airplanes. It's a great place to visit. HH

Great looking finds ! :icon_cyclops_ani: Many more .

Looks the passenger pigeon carrying it finally gave up (based on the bird-band leg).

That is a beauty and would look nice up top!

Lovely looking coin, it could be hammered, but I'm not sure when they started milling over there, so you need to check.

At least you started on a good looking one.

You need to get into those ploughed fields though...

I never found a Hammered coin. I have found some screw drivered coins I made while digging. Wanna trade? great job... Thanks for sharing!!!!
