I've used Zippo lighters for many years and a couple of weeks ago I found my oldest one ever, after a bunch of research I narrowed it down to being either made in 1938 or 1939. I would also like to see some other dug zippos if you've got them. Finding this last zippo has gotten me really going on the zippos and about a week ago I sent in 4 of them to get fixed, three of them were dug and one I bought back in the early 90's

After cleaning this thing up and finding out just how tight the hinge still is I decided I wanted to use it so I took the guts from the lighter that I have been using and put it in this one.

That For Sure Is A Oldie. Nice Zippo! That Pocket Knife Is Sweet To!

Here is one I dug. Its one of the smaller ones. Says Solid Brass across the top. Bottom has a date of 1932 and 1987. DSC00947.webp DSC00949.webp

You really should quit smoking, they are cool finds!

Helix that one you got there is really cool, it might even be a collectable one. Here's one of the slimlines that I sent in, it had a broken cam spring so I'm sure they'll just put a new insert in it cause the lighter is like new.

The insides of this one probably looks newer than most Zippos that people are carrying around
