Hi everyone.. Been a while since I stopped by.. Anyway, went out yesterday to hit an old site that I have had on my list. After about 4 hrs of digging period brass and junk, I pulled this silver spoon from its grave. It is Sterling and marked T.B. (Tomas Barker, London). It was made anywhere from 1805 to 1826. It has a hand engraving at the top M.C. Ill take silver any way I can get it. :hello2: Thought I would share it with you all. Happy Hunting !!!

Silver spoons in that shape don't come around to often, a nice early piece:hello2:

Very nice how about a better high-resolution set of pictures? One of my favorite finds is a beautifully hand engraved colonial-era silver spoon from my area.

I am always amazed at the foresight and thoroughness of silversmiths in marking their wares!
Nice find

That's a beauty. Congrats.

That would be a dream find for me ! Very attractive spoon !!! I'd probably clean it up and eat my breakfast cereal with it .
