Re: My Other Hobby

Wow, that's beautiful. I've always wanted a salt water tank but travel so much I'm afraid I'd come home to a disaster. Thanks for sharing.

Re: My Other Hobby

Wow, that's a beautiful aquarium! Did Bill Gent provide "Nemo" for you?

Re: My Other Hobby

nice tank cant wait til I move to florida and re-set up an invertabrate tank again hope the seals are still good its a custom made 350 gal tank made by a friend who worked for metaframe

Re: My Other Hobby

I found Nemo...I found Nemo :) :) ;D :D ;D. Very nice tank you have their Kiros. I had a freshwater tank at home, but the goldfish died. Looks like you take great care of Nemo and his friends.

Re: My Other Hobby

I'm still trying to convince my wife we should convert our 55 gallon fresh tank into a salt tank but she said she doesn't want the additional work, I'll keep trying

My tank was freshwater until May of last year, when I finally decided to take the plunge into saltwater. It requires quite a bit of extra care, but it is definitely worth it. One of the only downsides is that it's inhabitants are 10 times the price of freshwater fish.

Re: My Other Hobby

:o :o Since you really need to devote time to that aquarium, you better just give me the stone foundations ;D. Beautiful fish!

Re: My Other Hobby

beautiful! My boss when I lived in WA had saltwater tanks and I loved them....I do believe you could look at them for hours and never see everything that is there. Fascinating!

HAHA fat chance bud. I am itching for this weather to settle down so I can head to the site and take some pictures. I heard it's supposed to hit 47 degrees on Monday, so hopefully next week I will make it out there.

It's interesting that you said that, because this tank is my new television. There is so much going on, it's easy to sit and watch it for a while.

Re: My Other Hobby

lol and a lot better stress relief than watchin the news!! ;)

Re: My Other Hobby

the fish may cost more, but their beauty makes up for that easily

Thank you and yes, it's definitely worth the extra money.

Re: My Other Hobby

Had some oscars and a dempsey that got up to around 11 or 12 inches. Wish I still had them, I swear those fish had personalities!

That has to be one of the nicest Salt tanks I've seen!!!!!!

Re: My Other Hobby

Love going there and looking at the stock.
