Hi people my girlfriend is always getting on my back about when im taking her out again and i have always put it off as the first time i ever took her out she found a hammered coin within 10 seconds from turning the detector on so that day i said to myself im never taking her out again lol =)) but she wanted to go out saturday to the same pasture field she found her hammy. And she has out done me again!! ;;z she found a French coin which i have always wanted to find and a Victorian brooch aswell she was over the moon and so i was i for her to find such a beautiful coin <:-P <:-P

My GF also has a knack at finding things. So much so she bought her own set up (which is nicer than mine) and bug's me to go all the time. Cannot beat that.

I think is has to do with finding something beside trash the first time out or fast that makes them interested more then the avg person/women.
If you brought her out and she found nothing but foil and such she might not be so into it. You lucked out.
