A few months back my heighbor who works for the city asked me to try and find a set of keys that he had dropped in a field. They were to the door of the controller for a
new electric flag pole. Luckily I found them quickly and got many thank yous.
Today he asked if I could find a buffalo box [water shutoff] and I said probably.
This city and a larger nearby city had tried with their locators and failed.
We got to the site and I could see that they had broken up concrete in two places in the driveway and removed one section of sidewalk to no avail.
It took about 10 minutes and the fourth target we probed was the box.
About 6 inches off of the edge of the driveway. I got a lot more thank yous and an offer of beer and a steak dinner.
Now I just feel all warm and fuzzy.
